April showers will bring even more educational fun to Children’s Museum of Atlanta!

Kids are invited to Run, Jump and Fly! to the Museum for Easter, Earth Day and more!

ATLANTA – Families are encouraged to hop over to Children’s Museum of Atlanta this April to learn about different cultures and traditions through the power of play. From celebrating both Passover and Easter with joyful song and dance to learning about protecting Mother Earth with interactive plays, gratifying educational experiences will continue all month long at the Museum. Little ones can journey with Mars and Jupiter on a quest to get earthlings back on two feet as Imaginator Jerry G. White leads an original mini musical, Planet Rock. Feature exhibit Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action™ will continue to help youngsters get moving and grooving through kung fu, surfing, rock climbing, dance and more!

April Special Programming:

Passover Programming

Sunday, April 14
On Sunday, April 14, youngsters are invited to celebrate Passover at Children’s Museum of Atlanta. Special guest Michael Levine of The Learning Groove will lead interactive Passover songs and stories for the whole family at 11 a.m. and noon. Children and parents will laugh, sing, dance, shake, wiggle and giggle as they celebrate this joyful holiday!  

Easter Programming
Saturday, April 20 – Sunday, April 21
Hop on over to Children’s Museum of Atlanta to celebrate Easter! All weekend long, the museum will hold programming with everyone’s favorite joyful bunny rabbit! Families will go on a colorful egg scavenger hunt or learn the Bunny Hop at the CMA Stage. Guests are also encouraged to stop by the Art Studio or Build It Lab and take part in more festive activities!

Families are invited to celebrate Mother Earth at Children’s Museum of Atlanta for a full week of fun-filled programs and activities where kids will learn about the importance of keeping the planet happy and healthy for generations to come! Guests can explore the world of conservation with Michael Recycle at the interactive Readers’ Theater program. Families and little ones can also participate in a special music and movement activity at the Under the Rock program while learning about the ecosystems in their own backyards. Themed activities and crafts will also be held in the Art Studio, Build It Lab and Science Bar!

Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action™
allows children to enter an interactive world to learn the importance of health and wellness. Visitors are invited to visit Children’s Museum of Atlanta to explore the exhibit that helps families get up and get moving, while exercising their brains at the same time. From catching the perfect wave on a motion-sensing surfboard to perfecting the three principles of kung fu in a bamboo forest, children will learn new ways to stay active while enjoying extreme sports and activities. Building Blocks: Early Learning Programs

Tiny Club Monday

10:30 a.m.
Kiddos can choose between TiNY Science Club and TiNY Artist Club to enjoy a 30-minute class designed especially for kids ages 2 – 5 and their caregivers. Families can also check out TiNY Builder Club, a drop-in class held from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Each program offers hands-on activities, professional instruction and the chance to earn something new!

Messy Thursdays
10:30 a.m.
Little visitors and guardians are invited to get messy! Messy Thursdays offer slime, finger painting and more! Let the Children’s Museum of Atlanta clean up the mess while the little ones have a blast. There are new, messy activities every week to try, offering endless opportunities.

Toddler Jam Fridays
10:30 a.m.
Rock and roll into the weekend with this high energy, music-filled class guaranteed to shake out the wiggles and foster a love of music. Each week offers new songs, instrument play, circle time activities and, of course, dance breaks.

About Children’s Museum of Atlanta:

Children’s Museum of Atlanta is the only educational venue of its kind in Atlanta, presenting educational programs and exhibits designed for young children ages 0-8. Museum Admission: Online ticketing only is available at this time. Phone booking is available with ample notice and will be booked via online reservation. Members must pre-book and will be able to redeem their $5 voucher online. Babies 11 months and younger and members are admitted for free and must reserve their free ticket online prior to arriving at the Museum. All daily programs are included in price of admission. Museum Hours: The Museum will operate in 2 three-hour sessions with one-hour cleaning between sessions. The hours are 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Please check the Museum website to confirm hours of operation.
